Delete your Movie Realm account

Deleting your account is permanent. Your profile, your reviews, posts, comments, messages, images, lists, watch history, and everything else tied to the account are removed from our active systems immediately. The full details of what deletion covers — including the one narrow exception for content another user quoted into their own chat, which is kept with your identity removed — are in our Privacy Policy, section 7.

The fastest way: inside the app

Open Movie Realm and sign in.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Confirm. The deletion runs immediately.

Without the app: by email

If you have uninstalled the app, can't sign in, or simply prefer email, you can request deletion directly:

Write to tsrealms.interactive@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Movie Realm account".
Send the email from the address associated with your Movie Realm account — that is how we verify the request is yours. If you signed up with Google or Apple, that is the email of the account you used.
We confirm by reply and delete the account. You will receive a confirmation when it is done.

If you cannot write from the account's address, tell us in the email — we will work out another way to verify that the account is yours before deleting anything.

What is deleted, and what survives

Your account, profile, and personal information: removed immediately.
Content you created — reviews, posts, comments, messages, images, lists, translations derived from them: deleted with the account.
If another user shared your content or profile into their group chat, the quoted copy inside their message remains, with your name and picture replaced by "Deleted user".
Residual copies may persist in encrypted disaster-recovery backups for a limited period before being purged, as described in the Privacy Policy.
